The cove known as Caleta del Tangó, or Caleta del Pope, as it is also known, is located to the left of the northern breakwater of the port of Xàbia. The access is not easy, as it is necessary to walk on rocky blocks along the shoreline, below the terrace of the restaurant.
The proposed route leads towards the wall on the left, and along the way one encounters some cliffs that emerge from the water. As the route moves away from the coast, the depth and size of the rocks on the seabed will gradually increase until, at about a depth of three metres, it is possible to start seeing the first seagrass meadows of oceanic posidonia.
