One of the most beautiful coves in La Marina Alta is undoubtedly Cala del Portet, located one kilometre north of Moraira, where one can enjoy a simple aquatic stroll over a truly bright and welcoming seabed.

Using the left wall as a reference point, and from a platform on the surface, enter the water between the shallow rocks where it is possible to stand. Turning to the right, the wall forms small steps and gives way to seagrass meadows where it is possible to see fan mussels, black seabreams, or cuttlefish. Then there is a dazzling sandy area with tongues of seagrass. Proceed parallel to the wall, exploring the rocky blocks that harbour fish and crustaceans, and take some time to enjoy the abundant and colourful life that can be seen.
