An easy circular route along the Pous de Xaló (Xaló Wells) trail. There are four wells that used to supply the municipality with water before the installation of a modern drinking water system: the well of Les Figueretes (17th century), the wells of La Basseta and L’Assegador (19th century), and the well known as Pou dels Passules or Pou dels Forques (19th century). Some river pools can also be seen along the way.
It is recommended to take this walk through the municipal botanical natural park of Els Tossalets when the river is flowing abundantly. The visit ends at the beautiful pond known as Bassa dels Arcs or Bassa del Sapena, a heritage of great value that served as an irrigation pond and a place where many locals refreshed themselves and learned to swim.
