We will start the route in Plaça 9 d'Octubre, where the current Town Hall and Municipal Library are located. This is a ravine that was channelled at the beginning of the 21st century. If we turn off from here towards carrer Sant Joan, we will find the almàssera at number 10. Returning to the square, going to the crossroads between carrer Sant Joan and avinguda de la Pau we find the Panell General, and on the right, along the avenue, the Corralet, which is an old alley of medieval origin that connected with the other side of the street and which was walled up in the 1970s. It has a small courtyard with a well in the middle. If we take the other street and go down we will find ourselves in carrer Major, where the old Casa Badia is on one side, and the church of Sant Joan Baptista, from the 18th century, on the other.
Continuing along the avinguda de Dénia we will begin to leave the village passing by the Meridià bridge, which crosses the Girona river. On the right there is a recreational area with the Beniarbeig Old Bridge, built between 1906 and 1917, as a monumental vestige. A little further on, opposite an industrial building, is the riurau.
If we continue along the avenue we will reach a roundabout where we must take the first exit and continue along the CV-731. A little further on you will find two exits together: first take the last one, on the left, which will take you to the Cava d'aigua, which used to bring down rainwater underground in an artificial conduit from Segària to the Beniarbeig camp, and then take the second one, on the right, which takes you back to the Girona river where the Benihomer mill is located. The river can be crossed on the path, so we continue towards the Tossalet de Benihome and once we cross it we turn right to return to the village.
We enter the village again along carrer del Lliri, on the right of which is the Mirabons public park, next to the Benicadim school. There you will find the millenary olive grove. We continue to reach Plaça 9 d'Octubre again, and continue along Carrer de les Escoles, where the Unió Musical and the Antigues Escoles of 1931 are located, which Santonja rented from the Town Hall for 600 pesetas per year. Continue along carrer Ausiàs March, cross avinguda del Verger and continue along carrer del Calvari until the roundabout. If we take the second exit we will arrive at the theatre-auditori and the Escola de Música.
Once we have seen them, we go back to the roundabout and take the first exit towards carrer del Garrofer until the end and turn right into carrer del Taronger. The street will end and we will find a dirt road that will reach a fork, on the right of which will be the Casa Santonja, formerly "Villa Concha", which can also be seen from the other side, on the CV-729 road. From the dirt track you have to walk a little way through the ravines until you come out onto this road and, heading towards El Verger, you will see the Santonja basin, which legend has it that it is the same size as the Plaça de Bous in Valencia, but this is not true. This is the last point on the route.
