Cap Negre is one of the quietest viewpoints, with the least influx of people. In comparison with all the other viewpoints, the views from Cap Negre are perhaps the most spectacular ones. Looking towards the the north, one can see: in the background the Montgó mountain and, further ahead, the bay of Xàbia; on the same line there are the capes known as Cap de Sant Antoni and Cap Prim, the latter being the closest of the two; and finally, the Portitxol island floating over the calm sea.
The cape called Cap de La Nau is not visible from this point as it is located behind the viewer. The coastline is steep, made up entirely of cliffs. The cape is called Cap Negre (Black Cape) due to the dark spots on the cliff walls. Next to the viewpoint at the tip of this cape, two fishermen's trails wind their way to the Tabac and Mina caves. Due to erosion, the coastline has receded over the course of centuries, creating characteristic rock formations.
