The Soler Blasco Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of Xàbia, also called the Soler Blasco Museum, is located in Casa Palau de Antonio Bañuls, which is one of the most important buildings in the architectural ensemble of the historic centre of Xàbia. In this museum it is possible to see a permanent exhibition of objects related to the history of Xàbia, from the first Neolithic settlements to the traces of modern times.
Currently, it has 13 exhibition rooms. On the first floor there are the remains which have been found that are related to a period which goes from prehistory to mediaeval times, passing through the Iberian and Roman worlds. Continuing the tour, the visitor goes up to the second floor where the room dedicated to underwater archeology is located. On the third and last floor one can see El que érem ('What we were'), a journey through the culture and customs of the town by way of clothing, machinery and an infinity of field items that mark the history of Xàbia and its ancestors.
