A rural construction built in the 17th century, which the people of Calp used so as to obtain water for domestic use. It was also used for giving water to animals, until 1878 when Calp’s water network from Pou Roig was constructed.
A small monolith of cut stone was incorporated into the construction, so as to be able to deposit water pitchers and containers, as well as to create a fountain.
