Teulada Moraira
The route starts in the avenue called Avinguda del Mediterrani and goes along the Camí de Sant Miquel road until Creueta de l'Ave Maria (a rough stone cross that has a ceramic inscription). This cross represents the place from where Saint Vicent Ferrer blessed the area, to protect it from plagues and pirates.
Continue along the path that you see on your right, which leads you the Font de l'Horta spring. The fountain has two spouts and a small basin that was formerly used as a drinking trough. This place is very quiet, it has benches to sit on and you can relax and appreciate the beautiful surroundings.
From here, start walking along the track known as Camí del Boticari, just behind the fountain. Soon you reach Camí Pouet del Moro and there you have to turn right, passing in front of a medieval well. Continue walking until you reach the road that takes you to the farmhouse shared by Benissa and Teulada, called Benimarco.
Further on, you arrive at the square where the hermitage of Benimarco, also called Sant Jaume, is located. It has a viewpoint that has wonderful panoramic views of the sea.
Return to Teulada along the Sant Miquel path from the Camí del Buseit path, which is behind the Benimarco hermitage.
