This is an ideal route if you would like to enjoy a pleasant family outing exploring the entire bay of Xàbia, from the port, sheltered by Cap de Sant Antoni, until Cala Blanca, which is a group of three small coves. During this route you can contemplate the fishing boats and their tools, the so-called “tosqueres” (which are the pumice mines there were used for centuries, since the Middle Ages, to provide Xàbia with stone for the construction of its buildings), as well as Banys de la Reina and Séquia de la Nòria which were built during Roman times.
The route starts from Passeig del Port, and from there you have to go to the end of the breakwater and then backtrack to take the cycle lane along Primer Muntanyar, which leads you to the Arenal beach. From here, go to the street called Carrer Atenes, avoiding the main road so as to reach Cala Blanca. Here you can visit the viewpoint by climbing some stairs. On the way back, after the Arenal beach, take the cycle lane that runs along Canal de la Fontana and leads you along Avinguda Augusta to the starting point of the route.
