Cala Blanca or La Caleta is located at the end of the Segon Muntanyar Beach in Xàbia. It consists of two adjacent coves that are connected by a rocky coastline.
Cove I: A rustic cove with gravel and rock located at the end of the avenue called Avinguda d'Ultramar. It is accessible by car, and the final stretch is a small walk of about 100 metres. From there, one can access the viewpoint of Cala Blanca. Length: approximately 80 metres.
Cove II: A rustic cove with gravel and rock. It is characterised by a rough limestone barrier that extends into the sea, creating calm and crystalline waters. It can be accessed on foot from Caleta I. It can also be reached from the Caletes viewpoint by way of some stairs. Length: approximately 40 metres.
The main feature between the two coves is the rocky formation that separates and unites them at the same time while also serving as a pathway. The hole in the rock is one of the many attractions of this coastal spot. La Cala Blanca is a semi-urban cove predominantly composed of gravel and rock. The name derives from the whitish colour of the cliffs that shelter it. (1)
