It was built in 1915 to impart Franciscan religious teachings, on a national level.
It was a building destined to be the new Col·legi Seràfic (Minor Seminary), located with its back towards the convent and communicated with it through a tunnel. In this seminary, the first cycle of religious education to become a Franciscan was taught and, as a result, young people from all over the country attended.
At present, the building is occupied by the offices of CREAMA, the Local Development Agency, the Center of Excellence (Centre d'Excel·lència) and the Municipal School of Music and Dance.
