L'Atzúbia Forna
The Church of Saint Vincent Ferrer de L'Atzúbia was built in the 18th century following the classical style of the time of Felip III and IV, under the patronage of Patriarch Ribera (17th century). Initially, it consisted of a single nave with lateral chapels between buttresses, but it was expanded with a side nave. The central nave is covered with a barrel vault and uniform arches, and it is laterally illuminated with oculi and lunettes.
The interior of the church is organized with Corinthian pilasters that support a continuous entablature, and Tuscan orders define the measurements of the lateral chapels. The exterior is austere, with the notable presence of the bell tower from the 1960s which stands above the entrance and is of significant size. Constrained within a plot, the church has undergone expansion processes towards the east, with the adjacent abbot's house, and towards the west, with the bell tower and first porch that occupied the space in front, shaping the layout of the street called Carrer Principal as if it were a funnel.
