Gata de Gorgos is a part of the route known as Ruta dels Riuraus. Usually, constructions related to the raisin production process are called riuraus, but in Gata de Gorgos they are known as risaus. Some of them are still preserved, but they are usually privately-owned.
What one can observe in Gata de Gorgos is the number of sequers, or dryers, there are around the village, both for raw and blanched raisins.
