Built with the economic involvement of the whole town, from here one can enjoy some of the best panoramic views of the valley and the River Girona.

Along with Plaça Melcior Mut, this square serves as a meeting point for the people of the area, as well as being where the most important events in Sanet i Els Negrals take place.

The square consists of a square-shaped central space with a rounded viewpoint and benches, a children's playground on the left, a sports court on the right and, behind it, the municipal swimming pool. The name of the square, Plaza del Cristo, can be found in a tiled decoration at the entrance to the children's playground. There is also a bar and an information display about Sanet i Els Negrals on the left.
