Teulada Moraira
Built in the second decade of the 17th century (1620), this building represents and houses the activities of La Casa de La Vila (Town Hall) and the market, where trade takes place.
One of great harmony and simplicity, its facade is made of tosca stone. On the ground floor the building has three semicircular arches on the main facade and one on each side, forming an open porch. On the upper floor, there are two windows and a balcony set over the impost that runs along the facade. The sundial from 1639 has been preserved and there is a rear door set back with a curtained arch that overlooks Carrer de Sant Josep.
Next to it is the house of Constança, sister of Saint Vicent Ferrer, patron saint of Teulada. In the same square, Plaça dels Porxes, one finds a plaque commemorating the date in which the municipal terrain of Teulada was separated from Benissa and Calp (1386).
It is one of the stops on the so-called Ruta Vicentina and houses the Centre d'Estudis Vicentins (Centre for Vincentian Studies).
