Alcalalí
This route is circular and is 6.86 km long. It is the perfect opportunity to get to know the beautiful almond trees that cover the lands around Alcalalí.
The best moment to enjoy this explosion of colours is in February, since it is the period when the almond trees bloom and show off their pink and white flowers. This natural phenomenon is the typical image of Alcalalí that is engraved in the memories of all those who pass through the area during the blooming period.
These almond trees, in addition to creating a beautiful landscape, also produce almonds. The residents of Alcalalí use them in many desserts and meals and even make almond drinks.
This route runs almost entirely along paved roads. It is not a very difficult route and it also offers great views of the almond trees from the rural zone known as Mosquera. It is a perfect route to enjoy in good company, appreciating together the unconditional beauty offered by Alcalalí's surroundings.
