During this route you follow the SL-CV 97 local path, and the round trip is barely 1.5 km long. This is a very easy and well-marked trail which takes you to get to know the cove called Cala de la Barraca, also known as Cala del Portitxol because Portitxol Island is just a few metres away. This cove has a rustic beach made of gravel and rocks with typical white fishermen's houses, making it a paradisiacal place.
The route starts at the cross known as Creu del Portitxol, just like the Cap Prim route. In fact, the two routes can be combined, since both of them are neither very long nor very difficult.
From Creu del Portitxol, take the path on the left and after a few metres you come to a crossroads which has a signpost indicating that the Cala de la Barraca trail is to the right. A little further on, after passing through a small pine forest, the path splits into two. Continue to the right, following the route. Along the path there are some sections with steps and once you finish the steps you are close to Cala de la Barraca.
