The start of the route is where Avenida Rosa dels Vents and Paseo Marítimo Niña Cristina meet, a location which has an information panel and a parking area. The ascent starts along the street which goes parallel to the cove known as Cala Calalga. In this enclave there is a sign for the PR trail that says that it takes approximately fifteen minutes to get to the port of Las Pocetas. The path, which is protected by a railing, goes down towards the cove. Immediately afterwards, a ladder allows you to get to the Mallorquí cove, which also has an information panel. At this point, the path becomes wider.
