This is a route along the coast of Benissa where we can admire and enjoy the nature present in its rugged coastline and cliffs, as we will cross places where the green practically reaches the sea.
The route lasts approximately one hour and covers a distance of 3.5 kilometres. It is entirely along the coast and of low difficulty, making it ideal for children at any time of the year. Along the way you will also find numerous information panels that will tell you about the characteristics of the route and its flora and fauna.
The route can be started at the Tourist Info Benissa Platja in both directions along the coast, although to do it in a linear way you have to start at the Bassetes cove. Here you will find the Nautical Club, with sailing and diving schools, and some restaurants. There is also a car park. During this part of the route we will see an old eolianite quarry and a botanical area with flora such as the "esteperola de cap de gat" (Helianthemum caput-felis Boiss) and the "timó de sant Joan" (Thymbra capitata).
Once again at the Tourist Info, walking towards the other side, we will find Platja de la Fustera, a small sandy cove between cliffs, where the posidonia stands out in the sea. It is a beach with the typical services and nautical activities. From here we continue towards the adjoining cove, els Pinets, which is steeper and surrounded by rocks in the sea.
We now continue inland, along carrer dels Pinets to avinguda de la Marina, where we find the Fanadix Green Zone, with a picnic area for picnics. The route continues along an unpaved path through the trees to carrer de la Camamirla. If we turn right, this will give us access to the Llobella cove, completely surrounded by greenery and ideal for diving.
We leave the beach along the same Camamirla road and reach the next cove, l'Advocat, with its breakwater, which protects it from the waves, and where there is a beach bar and a car park.
We finish the route by following the coast a little further to the Parc Biosaludable, where we can enjoy the views and the typical Mediterranean species.
