The stones here speak, because they are a part
of our past and a part of our present.
Dénia
The cave known as Cova del Gamell (a name that refers to “gamella”, a wooden container used to feed cattle) is located in Dénia, and in ancient times shepherds used it to lock up their goats and sheep.
How to get there: From the urban area of Dénia, take the Pou de La Muntanya path and then the Colònia path until the hermitage known as Ermita del Pare Pere. The PR-CV 152 path begins there, starting off by going back along the Colònia path and then, after about 4 kilometres, it reaches the cave.
Opening hours: Always open.
