A unique building which was inaugurated in 1950 and designed so that the local women could wash their laundry there, taking advantage of the running water channeled from the dam. It has a very orderly composition, combining classicist airs on the outside and reflections of the industrial architecture of the 19th century on the inside.
It has recently been renovated and the building now permanently houses a series of photographs and posters about its past.
