La Vall de Laguar is a valley through which the River Girona flows, excavating a deep gorge known as Barranc de l’Infern. This ravine is famous due to the fact that it is one of the most impressive canyons in the Valencian Community. During the 17th century, it was used as a refuge by the Moors who were fleeing from the Christians.

The hike starts in Fleix. Walk a few metres along the CV-721 road towards Benimaurell and take the path on the right where there is an information pole regarding the PR 147 route that you are going to undertake. The first landmark you come across is the Font Grossa spring and the Fleix washing place. Zigzag downwards along the path, passing through the headwaters of the ravine known as Barranc de Fleix and through the natural rock orifice until you reach the riverbed of the River Girona, and then go up the other side until you reach Juvees d'Enmig. After that, the path takes you down again to the riverbed close to where the Barranc de l'Infern ravine starts, passing by the Font de Reinós spring. Walk a few metres along the riverbed until the start of the path that takes you to Juvees de Dalt. At this point, get ready to start the last descent of the day, taking you to the riverbed of the ravine known as Barranc de Racons, from where the last ascent begins, going up to the highest point of the trail, Alt de l’Ombria. On the last leg of the route, the first landmark you come across is the Font de Olbis spring (with its recreational area), and from there you have to continue towards Benimaurell, until you reach the Font Grossa spring and then onto Fleix.
