This third stage of the trail called GR 300 Costa Blanca Interior connects Parcent with Castell de Castells. This route is yet another chance to discover some charming corners of the Marina Alta region, while walking through mountainous landscapes with views of the sea, amongst crops and pine forests, passing through the ravine known as Barranc de la Cova Roja or an old Moorish farmhouse complex.

This stage begins at the exit of the village of Parcent, along Camí dels Pous, which is an old cattle track used by ranchers. Walk along the old road that was used to export raisins from Tàrbena to Dénia and go towards the next stop, the mountain pass known as Coll de Rates, which is a viewpoint that separates the two Marina regions.

From here, continue walking between old Moorish terraced fields until Tossalet Redó, where you begin the ascent amongst olive, almond and pine trees.

Continue the trail along Penya Pinets, passing by the spring known as Font dels Olbis until the Sa Pou viewpoint, where you can enjoy the views of the Castle of Tàrbena, the rock called Penya de Bèrnia and the Gelada mountain range.

Following the indications of the path that goes along the ravine known as Barranc de la Cova Roja, you get to Pla d'Aialt and its Moorish corrals.

From this point, you have before you the last section of this stage, which goes towards the spring called Font de la Bota and the village of Castell de Castells, and with the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent landscapes that surround you: the Xortà, Castellet and Mallada del Llop mountain ranges.
